HBO: Beyonce Documentary Special Tease

This looks SO exciting. I can't wait to see this!! I have always been a huge Beyonce fan and it will be SO cool to see a documentary on her because she's usually so private and you hardly see her and Jay Z in the media for anything other than their music.

Christmas Jumpers

For me, the cheesier the jumper is, the better!

Christmas is getting nearer and I can not even explain how excited I am! I'm all about getting covered in Christmas festivities, as are my family (proof being the Christmas tree which went up in my house near the end of November!).

I wanted to show you some of my favourite Christmas Jumpers, so take a look and let me know what you think! I found, that I preferred Topman's Christmas Jumpers, rather than Topshops - Who cares if it's men's, doesn't mean girls can't wear it.

Ideally, I would imagine wearing Christmas jumpers with a pair of shorts and tights! I think the combo of leather shorts with a jumper is nice. It would even look good with a pair of jeans or leggings (that's how I usually do it!)

Received my first BIRTHDAY GIFT!

My birthday is coming EXTREMELY close and I am really excited! I have just received my very first birthday present which was from my amazing boyfriend! He was nice enough to actually read my blogs and see my wishlists - he got the dress from one of my wishlists (click on the link to view). It was the very CUTE dress from Miss Selfridge and I was actually planning on buying it to wear on a night out for my birthday, so my lovely boyfriend decided to surprise me and get it sent directly to my house!

I have to say, one thing I love about ordering something online from Miss Selfridge, is that they give you a hanger with the garment. So, even if I've run out of hangers, I can hang it in my wardrobe with the one they provide!

This is when you know CHRISTMAS IS HERE!

This advert proves that Christmas is here! Christmas is never TRULY here until you see this advert on your TV screens! Without a doubt, this is mu ULTIMATE favourite Christmas advert!

Leather Jackets Stalk Me

So I have been wanting to get my hands on a leather jacket for AGES now and it just hasn't seemed to happen (probably because it costs a hell of a lot and sadly unemployment is following me around like a shadow!) I thought, if not buy why not do some picture shopping, where I can just look at the ones I like at the moment and show them to you!!

I do have to admit that leather is a popular material at the moment, I'm loving the leather high waist skirts too, they look gorge!

Anyways take a look at a few I've chosen as the thought of a leather jacket has been stalking me non stop!

M&S Christmas Advert 2012 ❄ The Greatest Hits This Christmas ❄ Marks and...

I always look forward to the Christmas M&S adverts because they always seem to make me excited for Christmas!! So this time they have not lost their touch - take a look at the new advert - you will definitely get even more EXCITED for Christmas than you already are! Also, having studied advertising I have to say that Marks always seem to create amazing campaigns, especially for Christmas - I know where I'll be getting my mums Christmas present from!!

Outfit Wishlist - A dilemma

Shirt: River Island £20.00
Skirt: New Look  £35.99
Wedges: Office £70.00

I went shopping with my mum yesterday and wanted to get an outfit to wear at a 50th Birthday party. I walked into River Island and fell in love with the Leather Skater Skirt, which I have been wanting for a REALLY long time. The one I've shown above is from New Look, which is also nice and I didn't want to put up the River Island one because the image didn't justify just how nice it is! But go into River Island and look for yourself!

I chose two different coloured Wedges because I think I would need to try them on before I decide! I think I would stick with a full blacked out outfit and chose the black wedges, they are really cute and I always like to go for the cute look, especially because I'm small and short!

Anyway, I couldn't go with this outfit for the 50th because my cute mummy felt it maybe a little inappropriate (I could relate, seeing as it's an Indian 50th birthday!). So, now I'm looking for a cute dress which isn't showing too much flesh! Any suggestions? I'm finding it hard to find anything at the moment and the party is next week AHHH (time to panic!).

Let me know your suggestions in the comment box below and provide links of images and websites I can get it from if possible! Speak soon!!

Outfit Wishlist

Dress: Miss Selfridge £45.00
Heels: Aldo £70.00
Necklace: Topshop £25.00
Bracelet: Topshop £16.50

I love this outfit and I really want to get this dress, however I can't due to lack of finances (life of the unemployed is very dark!). Anyway I would probably only wear either a bracelet or a necklace for this outfit because I think it would get a little be too crowded if I wore both (I speak as if I will actually be wearing this - well dreams CAN come true right!) So, I would chose the bracelet to wear with this and opt out of the necklace, probably because the neck of the dress is already high up and doesn't need a neck accessory to cover it up.

What are your thoughts? Leave me a comment and let me know!

It's Winter!

As I'm lying in my bed suffering with the repercussions of winter being upon us, I thought why not do a post on why I love this time of the year!!

I know that sounded REALLY weird, seeing as I just said that I am ill because of it being this time of year - what can I say, I am a bit of an odd one! Anyway, there are several reasons why I like this time of year and I decided to cut it down to 5 reasons!

1. Christmas displays/windows-

So as EVERYONE probably knows CHRISTMAS is coming up (stating the obvious!) which is extremely exciting! Stores have already begun to display their Christmas products and started decorating their windows. Seeing as I work on a very flashy road, Kings Road, I get the privilege of seeing some amazing window displays.

I have to say that no-one can beat the Harrods Christmas display, their windows are AMAZING! I went out for dinner with my cousins in Knightsbridge a few days back and I have to say, Harrods looked beautiful all lit up, covered in lights. At that point I was proud to be a Londoner and excited that I could come and see this whenever I wanted (well, I say whenever but I mean its commutable for me!). Now, I've been raving on about this on my Twitter and Facebook for days now and I have to mention it here too! Harrods is going to be doing a Disney Princess window for Christmas - gobsmacked right! It's MAJORLY exciting and I can't wait! I have always been a HUGE fan of Disney and being 22 will make this sound beyond lame but I recently went to see the Disney castle in Florida and it was ACTUALLY a dream come true!! I was ecstatic when I got to go Florida and most of all DISNEY WORLD!! Yeah ok, I'm talking like I'm 5 buy hey I don't care, I love Disney and I'm proud!!

The Disney Princesses gowns will be designed by famous designers, Versace, Marchesa, Valentino, Escada and Roberto Cavalli, just to name a few. My faves by far are Versace's Cinderella and Roberto Cavalli's Pocahontas - I don't think I even need to say why, see for yourself!

2. Hats and Scarves come out to play

At this time of year we always get our hats and scarves out, you may have read my last post on Hats which takes you through some hats which I love at the moment. Anyway I love winter hats and scarves, I think they are an awesome accessory and most of all keep you nice and warm. I also love how you can escape a bad hair day or a lazy hair day by sticking a hat on! A massive help to my life, seeing as I never know what to do with my hair and I'm trying to lay off the straighteners to help my hair recover from too much heat exposure.

3. SNOW

I think for the past two years or so, we have had a white Christmas in London and I have loved it - I have to admit that when it doesn't stop snowing, I begin to get a little bored of the snow. Also, some people take snow fights a little too far and decide to hit strangers with snow balls - that is NOT fun, so if you do that, stop! Any who I do love snow, I remember when I was younger, I knew snow meant no school so I used to love it. Sadly things change and when you start working its not likely they'll close the company because it's snowing!

4. It's MY BIRTHDAY!

Yep December time means MY birthday which is SO exciting !! It means presents for me and the realisation that I'm getting older (that bits not as exciting). I am really excited for my birthday this year, not too sure if i'll do anything to celebrate it but it'll still be great! I will also do a post on the presents I get (So this will be embarrassing if I get nothing!)

5. It's CHRISTMAS BABY!

Well this means DOUBLE presents for me in December, yipeee!! Christmas is always majorly exciting, my brother, sisters and I have a tradition where we all go to Westfields and then split up, to get each others Christmas presents! It's always really fun because were all trying to work out what each person got for us, while stressing about what to get them.

Then there's the actual Christmas day, I am usually extremely hungover on that day because Christmas Eve is my cousins birthday and every year she does a big, wild night out. So on Christmas day, I have a funny stomach and a bit of a headache - not even half as bad as my cousin, so I guess I wasn't the one suffering the most. It's also always been a tradition to watching Only Fools and Horses on Christmas day while having a massive feast in my house (Indian and vegetarian though, of course!). The morning is usually the time to open the presents which always ends up being fun! I have now been given title of buying the worst present for my brother, seeing as apparently I brought him a horrendous jumper from Topshop a few years back - but this year I hope to up my game!

These are my 5 reasons why I love this time of year - mostly December! But I would love to know what your reasons are for loving this time of year or, if you're more of a Grinch, why you hate this time of year!

The season of HATS!

Seeing as it's now winter and you can feel the rain hit your head in the mornings to work, I think it's time to keep that little head nice and warm.

It has been FREEZING recently, or in the words of my very 'cool' brother 'blitz' (It's the new word he seems to be obsessed with!). I have had a bit of a bloggers block and haven't had a clue about what to write about but then I realized I have grown an interest in hats for winter! In my 'Work Wardrobe' post, you would have noticed that I brought a cheeky beanie hat from Topshop. I actually adore that beanie hat and I definitely think it was a smart buy! I also wanted to get my hands on the burgundy beanie from Topshop because it was GORGEOUS and I saw Zoella, a well established vlogger wear it in one of her YouTube videos. Check Zoella's Vlogs out, I am a new follower of hers but I really enjoy watching her videos!

I would say, that at the moment I really enjoy wearing hats and hopefully soon I will be getting my hands on quite a few (Family and Friends, just to let you know it's my Birthday soon *wink* *wink*)! I think hat's look majorly cool for winter time and they give you a trendy look, so below I have shown images of the hats I love at the moment!

A little bit of everything...

Right, so I haven't written a blog for like over a week now and it has left me with SO much to say, that I can't dedicate this post to just one topic. Firstly, I have been CRAZY busy with my new internship and my home life! And seeing as I have now joined the gym (FINALLY!!!), some of my time goes there (I say some, I hope all!). MISSION: LOSE WEIGHT AND FAST!  (not that it's working!)

I did want to do my post on 'winter boots' but sadly I haven't seen many boots I like at the moment.

This post will really be a few things which I picked up on throughout the week and basically, fell in love with.

Aldo

This weekend I was dragged to Brent Cross (a shopping mall in North London) by my sister to buy a bag for college! Ok, I say dragged but I went along hoping I could get a little something too, especially because I had to find a finishing powder from MAC. Anywho, I went into Aldo and fell ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with these little clutches! I am seeing them everywhere and I REALLY want one *cries to herself*!! They are ultra trendy and the studded one is my favourite out of the ones below - the image really doesn't do it justice, you have to see it in person, you will guaranteed be hypnotised. I could SO imagine myself holding one of these and walking out looking great on a night out, it's small, chic and sophisticated. I know I can't get it at the moment, due to the lack of paid employment, BUT you can so run and go get it. And if you're my friend or family reading this - It's my birthday soon and lets not forget CHRISTMAS!!

Christian Louboutin

Recently, I have caught a bit of an obsession with this brand, which is SO weird because I didn't even know who they were until last week (yes, I know I must be crazy and oblivious to the world!). I first heard about Louboutin's while working at my internship, the girls were talking about their Louboutin's and I was just hiding away, worried about showing off my Forever 21's and admiring their beautiful heels - their shoes were gorgeous and it just made me very curious about the brand!  I am loving studs and spikes at the moment and I am seeing them everywhere, on bags, shoes and clothes! When I saw the Louboutin studded heels I just died (not literally, don't worry). They were SO cute and just stunning! After seeing the image below, I'm pretty sure you want a pair too! I did find that Aldo also did really nice studded shoes which I have shown below, so if you'd rather go for the high street studs they are the ones to go for! I think I have officially found another brand to add to my 'if I was a rich persons' wishlist!

The Kardashian's collaboration with Dorothy Perkins

I religiously watch the Kardashian show, as well as all the spin off shows linked to the Kardashians (I know a little sad, but it can't be helped I'm addicted!). When I saw Kim Kardashian tweet that the Kardashian sisters are going to do a collaboration with Dorothy Perkins, I was SO excited! I love the way they all dress and personally my favourite is Kourtney's style, I can't wait for the collection to come out and pick my favourites!!

I am also ECSTATIC that Khloe Kardashian will be hosting X Factor USA! She is without a doubt my favourite Kardashian for her personality and looks, she is hilarious and an amazing entertainer!! I also love how she always seems to speak the truth and doesn't come across as such a fake celeb (my opinion, if you disagree then, ah well it's my blog haha!)! GOOD LUCK Khloe Kardashian!

Lana Del Rey's Collaboration with H&M

When this collection was first launched, I grew an interest for it straight away, Lana Del Rey is gorgeous as it is and I love her style. The knit wear they have is my absolute favourite, it look SO comfortable!! I have always loved shopping at H&M and I love the idea of them doing collaborations. I have always found them affordable and worth the money. I like the idea of tight trousers, jeans and wet look leggings and when Lana Del Rey wears it, it just becomes a beautiful statement!! I have put some pictures below of some of my faves from the collection!!

At the moment this is where my head has been in terms of fashion, but their is still so much I want to write about, so don't worry! Fashion is such a big world and the more I learn about it, it never seems to be enough!!

I will do my winter boots post very soon so watch out for that and I will also maybe do a 'what's in my make up bag' post (not too sure yet though). I am very active on Twitter and Pinterest, so FOLLOW ME by clicking on the tabs on the top left. Please feel free to leave me any comments, I love hearing what you guys have to say.

All the images I get are from the brands website, you will be able to get onto their pages by clicking on the headings or brand names!.

Paris Fashion Week from my eyes

Hello all! So i know it's been a while since I've blogged (a while being like a week of course), this is because I have been running around trying to act like a local of Kings Road in Chelsea. Yes, my internship is keeping me VERY busy, it's like a different world, but it's a world I want to know more about!! A bit like fashion as you can see! Any who apart from begging to be a part of the glitz and glamz of Kings Road, I have been fighting the winter flu which has begun to make its way round. WINTER IS HERE! It all started from my lovely dad and moved onto my not so lovely brother and very cute sister (if you are reading this brother, I JOKE! It's all love of course).

Right, so now that I've had my little rant about the madness in my life at the moment, lets get talking fashion. I think I need to specify that I do not think I am a fashion specialist or know everything or anything at all about it. However, I am very curious and in awe of the fashion industry at the moment - So as I learn I am taking you along on the journey with me! Sit - read and enjoy (that is if you find reading this enjoyable, if not then you may never want to come on this page again).

So, Paris Fashion Week was definitely full of surprises with Escalators from Louis Vuitton, Bee hive  and honeycomb styles from Alexander McQueen, dark blacks and sophisticated whites from Chanel and smart and elegance from Saint Laurent. SO much good stuff that I was just gutted that I couldn't watch it all live! I know that there was a lot of press stating that Louis Vuitton was the show stopping show for Fashion Week but I only partially agree (Yes, me the one who doesn't know much about fashion) - I just go off what I like and don't like it's all opinions not facts!

Louis Vuitton used a lot of block colours and symmetrical designs, they made me feel as if I was in another world - a world of bright yellows, greens, browns and whites with square prints taking over. It was a beautiful statement having the models come down on escalators, it was definitely different from what I saw in the other shows. I ADORED their bags, usually I'm not a big Louis Vuitton fan when it comes to bags but I have to say I fell in love!

With Alexander McQueen, there was a theme of bee hives and honeycomb designs. I have to admit I REALLY liked it, I loved their head pieces, they were very eye catching and I don't know, it just grabbed my attention straight away. Their designs were very cute, I would love to own some of their pieces (Keep dreaming!).

Chanel, well it's Chanel what can I say about it, they are all about the sophisticated blacks and whites. There were splashes of other colours, such as blues and pinks. A Chanel outfit would definitely make me feel prestige and sophisticated and that's what I loved about them. What made Chanel great was their LARGE beach bag - it was amazing and for someone like me who LOVES big bags, that would definitely fit the bill (although the bag was probably the size of me! And that the bill actually doesn't work for me #Broke). It was an amazing statement and I found it the highlight of the show.

Saint Laurent's collection reminded me of the very best work wardrobe, I don't know if you saw my last blog on my winter work wardrobe (if not click on the link and get reading) but this would definitely be my dream Summer Spring wardrobe. They have these beautiful large floppy hats which are gorgeous. The hats are perfect for a summers day and a lovely style statement.

I think looking over the Fashion Weeks, theirs definitely a statement of the old becoming the new - all the new fashion trends are the old trends being brought back with a twist. I guess old will always be gold!

What was your favourite from the Paris Fashion Week collections? Please do let me know by leaving me comments! I am going to leave you with images of some of my favourites from Paris Fashion Week.

Just so I don't get told off for not stating this, these images have been sourced from British Vogue's website, if you click on the links for the brand names you'll go directly onto their page. And I have to say I LOVE British Vogue they are the reason why I want to know all I can about the Fashion world now!
