Hi all you lovely lipstick lovers! If you've been reading my blog since the start, you would have read my blog on the CHANEL Rouge Allure lipstick line.
So here is what happened when I went out to buy one of the lipsticks from the new line.....
My brother and sister decided they wanted to go to Brent Cross in North London and I couldn't resist going into Fenwicks and pursuing my desire to buy the velvet colour lipstick (Which I spoke about in my earlier blog if you haven't seen it yet).Of course I was hoping I could persuade my mum to let me buy it seeing as I am suffering from the plague of the 21st century, Graduate Unemployment Warning: This is a very serious disease and to refrain yourself from catching it keep filling out those application forms!
Once I reached the counter the sales assistant told me that the new CHANEL lipstick line won't be in UK stores until this week and passed me the testers (shown in the image above). As gutted as I was, I was happy to get my hands on the testers at least - and lucky for me its a beautiful range of the reds!
I did try one colour from the testers, which was 99/PIRATE - It was a gorgeous colour and felt really natural on my lips, it didn't even feel like I had anything on my lips and there was no sense of dryness so I wouldn't need to top it with a lip moisturiser. However if you want a shine or gloss over it you can do that, but in my opinion the lipstick has a little shine to it already - just the right amount.
This is a high end lipstick brand, which I'm sure goes without saying so the price its selling at is £25.00.
When I do get the lipstick I'll let you guys know what it's like and if its a keeper - judging from the testers I'm sure it will be a keeper and one to lock away!
