This is the very first red lipstick I had purchased, I got it from Superdrugs, where you will find I get most of my lipsticks from. I randomly grew a love for Reds and felt it gave me a sophisticated yet sexy look (dependent on your outfit too of course). This Revlon lipstick wasn't a favorite for me, but was for my sister who has a darker skin tone. It was soon out of my make-up bag and constantly in hers - as you could imagine for every sister, things always get robbed by their siblings, I guess I'm glad it's not my brother at least.

I found this lipstick really dry, I would recommend using Vaseline, Carmex or any moisturising lip product after applying it - However my sister doesn't like applying a moisturising product as she liked the dry, matte finish, whereas I like a bit of shine to my lips. So that depends on your preference and how you like your lips.

A plus point of having this lipstick is that it's matte and you don't need to keep applying, it lasts throughout the night (otherwise like most girls you'll be heading into the toilets every 20 minutes to top up your lipstick).

Red lipsticks can be seen as being really messy and getting everywhere, but the positive about having a matte red is that it doesn't leak so much and there's less chance of it ending up on your newly bought white dress (which no girl wants!).

You'll soon find I love my reds and you'll see A LOT more reds in different brands and different tones as well as other colours.
