Dress your boyfriend

I recently went shopping with my boyfriend to find him some new outfits for work seeing as it was a 'smart/casual' dress code (more casual I think). Every couple has a something they always do when they see each other, something which describes them - for me it's SHOPPING. Yes, you heard it right, my first date with my boyfriend was a window shopping walk around Central London and now whenever we see each other shopping is at the top of the list. I know what you're thinking, how lucky am I that my boyfriend loves taking me shopping? - JUST HOLD IT RIGHT THERE - we just go window shopping usually because we have nothing better to do and I cry over the things I want but can't buy at the moment due to the lack of funds!

Anyway, this time we went shopping for him and there was a certain style I had in mind and so did he - it was the chinos look. I have always thought Chino's look good on guys especially at the moment when the world has gone chino crazy. You see my boyfriend doesn't like the bold statement with bright colours such as yellows and pink (I actually think pink shirts look REALLY good on guys BUT he refuses to listen). 

So we got into the stores and I have to admit I had WAY more fun picking out clothes for him than I do picking out clothes for myself (maybe it's because I haven't picked clothes out for myself in a long time * *Whimpers*) - I threw loads of different things his way, I think the burgundy colour is everywhere at the moment and it should be because it looks awesome on everyone (Well in my opinion it does). 

I think the mustard colour is a great colour for guys in the coming seasons, so as I would I threw this Jumper from H&M towards him and he threw it right back (Literally in my face!). So that was a no no for him BUT I do think this colour looks good on guys at the moment SO maybe it suits someone you know! 

Ok so don't judge me but the next thing I picked out maybe wasn't the best choice for him as I worked out after he tried it on BUT I still think it would look good on some guys but it just depends on the person. This is also from H&M and I think the type of blue is is could be questionable. 

So these were the two which didn't work and I did chose some green ones like these chinos too but they just didn't work, green I think is another colour which could work dependent on the guy. I think more bold colours such as blue and green work for someone like my brother, his chino collection is pretty stylish (obvs don't tell him that - he will get an overly large head although it already is) - but he does get help from my sister as well who I would say is my very own personal stylist also (Oh the pros of having a FASHION DIVA sister!). 

So finally after running around we finally finalized what my boyfriend wanted to buy - I have to say shopping with boys can sometimes be worse than shopping with girls I was left standing in the middle of the store with clothes consuming me (WARNING: Refrain from shopping with your boyfriend because it will result in what you see below). 

  

His final choices were good, he was happy and I was happy! I have listed what the outcome was below!

Burgundy is definitely a WIN-WIN colour, I think it will suit anyone so you never have any problems!

Again burgundy, this was a great outfit combined with the beige chinos! 

SO after that crazy shopping experience with my boyfriend I now know that next time we go shopping I need to get things for myself rather than running around while he does his picking and choosing. I would have to say that #H&M had the best chinos collection and at a good price (I will have to say thank you to my brother seen as he did tell us to go there for chinos) - I would recommend #H&M highly! And although I would never look at New Look for mens clothes I was surprised when my boyfriend DRAGGED me in there because he saw a jumper he liked (I guess never judge a store by its window;)).
