The New York Fashion Week

Okay so I have never been the one who people come to advice for when it comes to fashion. I think everyone who knows me will tell you I'm not really a fashion diva, far from it - but recently I have this new found love for fashion, I think it's due to me following British Vogue on twitter! I am always keen to know what they have been writing about and whats been going on in the fashion world - very bizarre and unlike me!

But now I really wish I was at the New York Fashion week! I want to see the catwalks and the new spring/summer collection. So far, I love the Victoria Beckham collection. She herself is such a well poised and sophisticated woman, it's just amazing to see how much she has accomplished after the Spice Girls (Who of course I was a MASSIVE fan of!). I like the fact that she added a little colour to her collection, it wasn't all black and it always has that element of sophistication (in my opinion).

There was also the Nicole Miller collection which caught my eye, i felt it was more of a casual collection and had a lot of vibrant colours complimenting one another. The image below is my favourite outfit, I think it's because it's something I would wear and I would go out and buy - its very cute!

So this is someone who doesn't know much about fashion but is now beginning to love the fashion world - you will probably get some fashion blogs like this too - if I am still a growing fan of fashion! New York Fashion week is somewhere which I now REALLY want to go - it's a dream but I never stop dreaming, you shouldn't either!
